The LM324 low power dual amplifier can either operate on a split power supply or single supply and is a Quad op-amp IC. This device has a differential input voltage that can also be similar to that of the power supply voltage and has very low input offset voltage of 2mV. It has 4  independent high-gain operational amplifiers and is a low-power Op-Amp.

This is one of the reasons why it’s a popular choice for general purpose applications, especially among hobbyists. Unlike most Op-Amps the LM324 does not require a negative power supply, which makes it more preferable to standard competitors.

This device eliminates the need for dual supplies and is compatible with all forms of logic.
